Tripura beckons the tourists with its scenic beauty and magnificent palaces like Ujjayanta Palace built in the Indo-Sarcenic style. Today the building houses the State Assembly of Tripura. Kunjaban Palace at Agartala offers a spectacular view. Neermahal - Lake Palace at Melaghar is branded as the 'water palace', built in 1930 at the middle of the Rudrasagar Lake, which displays the influence of the Mughal architecture. Time has changed Udaipur, the former capital of Tripura, in to a market town. Five km away from the Udaipur is Tripura Sundari temple situated, on a small hillock in front of a lake built in the Bengali hut style architecture. The Bhubaneshwari Temple the oldest temple in the state has the images of Shiva, Vishnu and other deities carved on the Chabimura Rock. Jampui hills, also known as 'Land of the Eternal Spring' is the 'orange basket' of Tripura where one can view at ease Chittagong Hills, Kanchanpur-Dasda Valley and the hill ranges of Tripura and Mizoram. The Watchtower on the Betlingchip 3200 ft high, offers an amazing view. Pilak is a treasure house of Hindu and Buddhist Sculpture, replete with beautiful images dates back to 8th and 9th centuries. Indeed, Tripura is charming.

3. Deotamura is famous for its panels of rock carvings on the steep mountain wall on the bank of Gomati.
4. Sepahijala a wildlife sanctuary where more than 150 species of residential birds, migratory birds, orchid garden, boating facilities, wild life, botanical garden, zoo, elephant joy-rides, rubber and coffee plantation attracts the visitors. The famous spectacled monkey is found here.
